Well, as most of you know - Scott and I have been looking and looking for a house on the lake in the area. We love our home now, but we really want to be on the main body of the lake. After our huge disappointment earlier in the year (we put an offer on a house and were outbid - I was devastated!) we found another house on Lake Oakland and were pretty secretive with everyone this time when we decided to make an offer. Well, after a three week ordeal, we are Lake Oakland home owners now! We are so excited to say the least! There is a lot of work to do on the interior, but we are hoping to be in by Christmas time at the latest. Here we are on the lakeside of our new home!
